Jmilz Design is a boutique, one-person tattoo studio based in Colo Vale, Southern Highlands, specialising in custom fine-line and micro-realism. Every piece is designed custom to your needs — no flash walls, no walk-ins, just focused, personal artistry.

Appointments only. When you're in the chair, you have the artist's undivided attention — no distractions, no rush, just you and your piece.

Trained across a range of studios before going independent, the result is a level of skill and care matched by genuine professionalism. Clients are met with comfort, respect, and a relaxed atmosphere from consultation to final ink.

That approach has built a loyal following — clients who travel from outer regions just for the experience, alongside strong local support from Bowral, Mittagong, Mosswale, and surrounding areas. Jmilz started in the industry at just 16, and it's been her passion ever since! Specialising in fine line and microrealism, she brings a gentle, detailed touch to every piece she creates — inspired by her love of charcoal art and its beautiful shading and depth.

After honing her skills across two different studios, Jmilz took the leap to go independent, and now loves creating in a space that's all her own.

Aftercare & Healing

Your new tattoo is a piece of art — treat it like one. Proper aftercare keeps your ink looking sharp for years to come.

First 24 Hours
Leave your cling-wrap on for the time recommended by your artist (typically 1 hour). Gently wash with lukewarm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap, patting dry with a clean paper towel — never rub.

Days 2–14

Apply a thin layer of aftercare balm — a little goes a long way
Avoid soaking (baths, pools, spas, and the ocean) until fully healed
Keep it out of direct sunlight
Wear loose, breathable clothing over the area
Don't pick, scratch, or peel — let it flake naturally
Avoid tight clothing or friction on the area

Long-Term Care
Once healed (usually 2–4 weeks), keep your skin moisturized and always apply SPF before sun exposure — UV rays are the #1 cause of tattoo fading.
